I was getting ready for work* this morning when a feature item came up on BBC Breakfast about disabled artists who paint with their feet and/or mouths…
Uncanny. You posted this just as I was writing a cheque for the local MFPA (Mouth and Foot Painting Artists), an organisation which sells the works of disabled artists.

This is an interesting piece on what happens when Japanese women who've been married a while are suddenly addressed by their first names: [LINK]

*nods* You know, that makes way too much sense not to be accurate. Essentially, it's making the women feel young again, and who wouldn't want that ? Lovely video.
Rin is orthogonal to everything.
Stuff I've written: Developments, a continuation of Lilly's (bad? neutral?) ending - COMPLETE!

I tried it on my wife and she said, "What did you say?" too. Amazing.

There's normally a small group of handles, like 'dear' and so on. Sometimes after many years, you find that using a first name seems somehow odd.

That's quite nice, actually :3
I was worried that it was going to be about their kids using their first names for some reason, that doesn't sit well with me.

NGGGGH that took it one step further in the feels-section.
Like they mentioned, calling them by their first name sparks memories of before which they'll always keep close in their heart. It's strangely insightful, for something this easily overlooked. Wouldn't have thought of it myself either.
