Re: Visual Novels Illegal?

US law uses the Miller Test in cases like this, basically it's like "hmm... does this have artistic merit or is it just loli-fap material." The reason why the originally linked guy lost is he had a lot of stuff that ... left little to interpretation. Some real stuff too iirc. You can get prosecuted ...

Re: Your Children Are Not Yours

As some level of writer not on the professional, or even acknowledged internet level, I'd like to point a few things out that should be relevant here (warning : pages of text approaching. Skip down to the *-*-* denoted section if you want to skip to the shorter points ) :

"A genius cannot ...

Re: Disabled game heroes

I remember reading some random star wars EU book where one of the girls loses her hand in an accident and opts not to get a robotic replacement for the hand, and it's a major plot point for the book or something. Vagueness due to reading this many years ago.

Re: Opinion

These two aspects are part if not the main influence of games which partially connect the imaginary field with the normal one. I did read about the idea of not having voices but in my opinion as a frequent h-games player all voiceless games FAIL big time.

Fate/Stay Night didn't really have ...

Re: Writing workflow

Hmm, Suriko I usually love your advice, but about throwing out work, I'd be careful with that, it's a bit personality dependent. I'm *EXTREMELY* self-critical, and I usually think all of my work sucks after first writing it, so I'd be liable to throw out everything most of the time. I like keeping ...

Re: How to get into something like this.

You have a lot more success finding people if you have an already intermediate product. Make a significant progress on all the aspects you're planning on handling yourself, then look for other people to fill in the rest. It's not the most efficient way to do things, but for first time independent ...

Re: Question for Devs (Not about release date don't kill me)

Thanks guys, I think I know how I'm going to do it now. Somewhere between two two extremes was where I was leaning but I didn't have a good feel for how to do that and this kinda completed my thoughts.

Also Aura you guys are doing great I think relative to me. My last big writing project took over ...

Question for Devs (Not about release date don't kill me)

I thought the parenthetical would be wise considering some of the topics recently. I think Aura dies a little on the inside everytime we get a post asking when the game will be out :(

But since we have multiple writers running around, I wanted to ask you guy's opinion. I have an idea. I've already ...

Re: will turing off hentei ruin the flow of the game?

I'd just like to point out even if the devs don't include a cliffnotes version of the sex scenes, someone in the community can and probably will compile it. So problem solved.
I have to wonder how the devs stand on this 'solution'.
The license (publically viewable, it's stickied right there ...
