Re: Immersion
I think I usually started an arc around noon, then I would do absolutely nothing else for the rest of the day accept read the arc. I tried not to read it late at night because I'd find that I'd just end up skim reading and forgetting what I had been reading for the last 5 or so minutes. I'd have it ...

Re: Lily's good ending
Girls und Panzer? Never seen it. You should. I've only seen 60 seconds , but I love it! Blooming apple trees and pear trees Hung the morning mist over the river. Katyusha stepped out, The high bank on the steep. She was walking, singing a song About a gray steppe eagle Of the one ...

Re: Finally giving KS a chance
I had been hoping for over ten years for any English version of any Tokimeki Memorial or Sakura Wars game... One example: the characters just kept on talking and talking about the student council, but nothing is being decided. The subject of school clubs is discussed. In some of my complex games ...

Re: Troubling thought
Man, and I thought Emi was a slut I mean... I understand where you're coming from, but I seriously disagree that Hanako would ever do this. For starters, you say Hanako would 'aim higher' as though Hisao is just completely plain and average, but even if Hanako was a shallow cunt, Hisao is a nice ...

Re: Troubling thought
Before I found KS I struggled to get out of bed each morning or find a reason to spend time with anyone, but I've been realizing how simple it is to get out of this mindset- cut out the reasons you have to be by yourself playing video games and just do something. Doesn't matter how big or small it ...

Re: Finally giving KS a chance
Changing the PC's name would serve no point. Your joke names would only ruin what is meant to be a serious story. To elaborate on this, Hisao is very much not your character. KS is his story and you live it with him as narrator and protagonist, but he is independent enought from the player in terms ...

Re: Finally giving KS a chance
For now, I've left off at the second decision, while visiting the cafeteria. I'm not sure if I like the VN just yet. Wait isn't that like 20 minutes into the game? You've developed such a huge completely negative and "nit-picky" idea of this game and you haven't even completed the first act? For ...

Re: Finally giving KS a chance
Personally I think you are being too picky. This game was made to help and change people, me included. You are only looking at the very minuscule and minor faults and/or issues with the game - most of which are not even faults just things you have found to complain about. No one else has had any ...

Emotional Attachment to the Forum?
Hi, I recently joined the forum at the start of the month, I then proceeded to post a bit - a few of you may have seen my posts. I then went on Holiday and I found myself really wanting to go on the forum and talk about Katawa Shoujo. I'm not sure if I was I was lacking the need of talking about ...

Re: Can someone Please give me some Help and advice here.
I played Emi's route first, and like you I really didn't have a whole lot of attachment to her, but then I played Hanako's route and had so many "feels". I felt the need to start running again and since discovering what my "feel" was I have never felt better. Maybe what you should do is maybe try to ...

Re: Deepest/Most Emotional/Thought Provoking Scene
Surprisingly, the most thought provoking scenes for me are from Shizune's route. Firstly the scene where Kenji removes his glasses and it plays "Friendship" on the background. For the first time I felt he was more than just a nuisance. Secondly, the scene where Misha confesses her love for Shizune ...

Re: Significance of the Act 2 Openings (Spoilers)
For me it's Lullaby of Open Eyes, Comfort, and Innocence. Those feels... Hey, feels aren't a bad thing though. Just means that you see a part of yourself that you want to improve in KS. On a side-note, has anyone made any not-so-drastic changes to their life? For example I now drink tea twice a day ...

Re: Needing some advice.
"Feels" are a good thing though. No matter how down or confused I felt about my "feels" I always new it was for my best, as I sub-consciously wanted to make that change, but I didn't have the motivation. After having the "feels" take their effect on me, I have never felt better.
