What if the 6 girls had attended Hisao's high school?

Post by KrisIsLyra »

Would Hisao or Iwanako have become friends with any of them?

Hisao? Probably not.

With several girls, they had to reach out to help him come to terms with his life. if he's not visible hurting and uncomfortable, I don't see them reaching out.

Also Hisao mentions that he has to go out of his way to treat them like their normal people. If he actually did have "normal" people to hang out with, he probably wouldn't bother with them.

Asking about Iwanako is pretty much pointless as she has zero established character. But Hisao probably wouldn't have for the most part, unless Emi joined him in his soccer exploits.

How can someone go to a disabled school before he's disabled, a lot of the main girls need special treatment like emi needs nearly 24/7 care in case she goes for a run at night and breaks her prosthetics or something, without a lot of nurses patrolling everywhere 24/7 she could be stuck on where she was running for hours.

Hanako needs regular council sessions and I'm pretty sure if my public school teachers saw me run out of class when we started group work they'd make a huge deal out of it just to embarrass students so hanako would probably die of a panic attack or go insane.

Lilly may do OK but if there aren't any teachers specifically for the blind ( and I'm pretty sure my schools budget couldn't afford half of one blind girls need, Braille books and all the other specialists equiptment) then she will probably get left behind and get bad grades, fall in with the wrong cloud and become a hooker before getting an std ( she doesn't know how dirty her clients are)and dying.

Rin would be the wiered kid nobody talked to and just spend the whole time slowly going crazy and naming each of her toes, before her pillow convinces her it's a great idea to jump off the roof with a paint can on your back to creat a great piece of art or something then die off impact.

Misha would be the girl that everyone likes, she's the most normal and would hit me as one of the pops (a name my freinds at school made for the popular kids) but shizune would be the bitch she is now and because misha would be a pop she would not see her often and she'd have no way of communication and therefore she would do badly at school as the teachers would not be able to teach her anything ( they could write it down but public school teachers are lazy and probably end up slacking off with her) but as she's already kinda smart she does ok in exams.. Average at best. This leads her to a dead end job in an office where she can't talk to anyone and her life is so dull she takes her own life by dropping a toaster in the bath.

Hisao wouldn't get any girls as they are all depressed (except misha who he wouldn't get for different reasons....lesbian reasons...) and iwanako is hiding from hisao as it was so awkward so he'd just end up getting the manly picnic but this time by himself.

This is the most realist I believe anyway

Emi does not need 24/7 care. If she breaks a prosthetic, there is this thing called "hopping" and (if she breaks both) this other thing called "crawling". I doubt she runs out miles from civilization. Or, hell, she could carry a phone.

Hanako's counseling, if I recall, is a separate matter from the school. And I dunno where you attend but I've never seen a teacher go out of their way to make a big fuss over something so mundane as someone skipping out on classwork.

Lilly becoming a hooker and dying of STDs...That is literally the most completely retarded bullshit ever. She enjoys sex but she's not an indiscriminate whore.

Weird kids exist everywhere. More than one in most places. It's a massive stretch to think she'd just be completely isolated and lose all sanity. Hell, I was as isolated as one can get without being a literal hermit and I'm still basically sane.

There is no reason Shizune would not see Misha. They're friends. Misha isn't some vapid cunt who ditches friends for popularity. Even if she did, others may step up. I knew people who could sign. And again, the suicide bit is just hyperbolic nonsense.

As for Hisao...He got a confession before he ever left so how is it impossible he'd get another sometime?

In short: Cool story, Katie, but...

(Sidenote: In my school, there were staff members whose entire job was handling special needs. The girls would thrive just fine there as far as their disabilities are concerned. Hell, we had a blind kid around who was one of the best students in the place. I doubt they'd really be completely helpless as you suggest here...)

wat

I don't know. Probably not, but he does seem to find Lilly especially sweet right off the bat, what with her refined mannerisms and all. It depends if they were in any of his classes, and where they sat and whatnot.

Lilly becoming a hooker? My my, that's clearly beneath her. Now, becoming a madam, on the other hand...

Didn't Rin comment that she could have gone to a regular school but chose to go to Yamaku, or am I mixing the game up with fanfic again?

With Shizune in charge of the council… oops, that's not what you meant, right, sorry.

Actually, she's the one most likely to be treatable in a normal high school.

But also the least likely to function in a normal high school. It's perfectly possible her caretakers didn't even take treatability into account when offering to enroll her at Yamaku. They simply felt that a normal high school would damage her further.

I've always wondered where she went in between her tragedy and the beginning of high school, i.e. before she was 15-16 years old.

She went back to her old elementary school after being released from the hospital. (since she mentioned her old friends in the final scene of her route) Given the fact that was excluded from most groups in middle school, I'd say that one wasn't a special school either.

Elementary is ages 6-12 (6 years), followed by junior high (12-15, 3 years) and then senior high (like Yamaku, 15-18, 3 years)—hence my speculations about the years in between.
