Yamaku's Swimming Pool

Post by Jobriq »

What if when Hisao decides to exercise, instead of going to the track, he went to Yamaku's swimming pool? He totally should have. Let me list the reasons why:

1. Running sucks. Swimming is great. (I may be biased here)

2. Emi (or some other girl) could be on the swim team (I don't think Yamaku even has one) and wear prosthetic flippers (do those even exist?)

3. Hisao would have to expose his scar when swimming and this would have interesting plot potential. (i.e. some girl asks about it, awkwardness ensues)

4. Instead of heart attack on the track, it would be a heart attack in the pool leading to drowning! (this seems like a bad reason)

5. CRIPPLE GIRLS IN BIKINIS!!!! (you know you want it)
Fist of the North Star is a strange movie ._.

Tomorrow's Doom happens.
Rin is orthogonal to everything.
Stuff I've written: Developments, a continuation of Lilly's (bad? neutral?) ending - COMPLETE!

I figure it's a natural progression after he promised to exercise but then gives up on the track.

I forget who's route it was in (but I think it was Rin's) where he talks to Nurse and says that he's been doing a lot of walking and Nurse says that's fine. So it's not like he's sitting around doing nothing.

I swear it was in Lilly's route...
It might be in more than one route, for all I know. I'm waiting for the League season to end, before I start with the other routes.

In one route he said it to himself. In another he talked with Nurse. I just don't remember which route it was and haven't played completely through everything again to get my saves back.

Question is who'd be on the swim team.

Oh right, the sharktopus...Why do I imagine the person who came up with that works for Syfy?

I could see Hanako being on a swim team, once she got comfortable with the exposure...Or just pushed into it by Lilly.

Can Hanako even swim? I know Lilly mentioned swimming in the ocean, but Akira is faster. Maybe Akira could be the coach of the swim team.... please?

Akira wouldn't be at Yamaku...But that's a damn fine idea.

Where I come from, most kids learn to swim around their 6th or 7th. Hanako was 8 when she got hospitalized, so she could have learned it before then. I don't think she visited many swimming pools afterwards. In fact, I think the point of her being comfortable enough with her scars to wear a swimsuit is still so far into the future, there'd be no reason for her to still be at Yamaku.
Sisterhood: True Edition. Hanako epilogue I wrote. Now expanded with additional chapters.
