Hisao's haircut?

Not cosplaying or anything, it's just getting to the point that I need a haircut, and was thinking of getting one like Hisao had before his first HNGGGG (or the one he had at Yamaku, which is basically the same, just shorter). Is that actually a style and feasible, or just too far off in the spectrum of anime character haircuts that make waifus go mad with lust?

If you don't count the ahoge (idiot hair), it depends on your hair.

There's a pic of a Hisao cosplayer, but he looks more like James Sunderland from Silent Hill 2.
