Preserve full screen aspect ratio (Win XP 64)

When going into full screen mode, is there a way to ensure the 4:3 aspect ratio is preserved on a 16:10 display? So far I have been playing this game in windowed mode because I don't like image stretching. Unfortunately the window is a bit small on a 1920 x 1080 display.

Never mind. I managed to fix it by changing a setting on my monitor. I poked around a bit, but saw a bit called "Wide Mode". I changed it from Full to Aspect. Started it up, and it was no longer stretched.

So... yea. I'd give that a shot.

Yes, it's usually a matter of changing your monitor's settings, not your system's.
