I'm an English speaker. However I'm interested in indulgence in other languages - multiple ones, and it'd be interesting dor me to read alternate language versions of KS.
If and when they release new versions with other languages...would there be any way to transfer my save files or would they be corrupted? Or should I just bite my lip and replay it from scratch when it's updated?

Read here.
Speaking for the german translation team I can say that we will do a translation, but we can't even guess how long it will take at this time.
As for compatibility of savegames - with the demo there was no problem after the inclusion of new languages, so I don't think there will be any with the full version either. No guarantees, though.

Ah, thank you. It's just an if of course.
My interest was in the savegames. Thank you!
[I hope nobody saw the original misinterpreting version of this post it's embarrassing and I want to slaughter myself.]
