facebook group?

Post by tujustu »

So i was thinking, we need to make a facebook group for this site.
So i looked it up on facebook and there are completely no groups. none. zip. dito.
so i'm making the first group! yay!
i really have no idea why i'm saying this. perhaps because KS is my new love.
^_^
and mainly to the developers, i think it would bring a lot of attention (is that a good thing?) to the game.
just before this group becomes official i wanted to get a public census on it.

And one ambiguous; I don't use Facebook, so I don't care. If you really want to make a group, I doubt I can stop you. I would, however, try to emphasive very strongly that this is a very positive game. It's not demeaning to people with disabilities, and that should probably be noted whenever the game is being talked about somewhere new, to prevent people from getting the wrong idea. Or try to, anyway; some people will probably be offended no matter what happens.

As far as I am concerned, you can do whatever you want with Facebook, within license limits.
I do, however, think that Facebook is a blight on the level of the Bubonic Plague, all the more so because it is resistant to vaccination and immunization. Any and all relevant linking that I see anywhere I have some sort of control is likely to be vaped with extreme prejudice.

Just saying.

i what i meant when i said, "i wonder if it would be good thing to create a group" as this game will soon turn out hentai when it is released. contraversial? (sp?) i probably won't make the group anyway;p

Could be a very interesting social experiment. I don't care either way.
<Aura> would you squeeze a warm PVC bottle between your thighs and call it "manaka-chan"
<Suriko> I would do it if it wouldn't be so hard to explain to my parents

Ok, This made me laugh. :D
As far as Facebook; I don't know anything about it. Isn't that where child molesters find their prey?
Myself, I'd wait untill the finished product is out before inviting the shitstorm of public stupidity that widespread mis-information about KS would likely start.

2xGPU clients (GTX 465/GTS 250); 2xCPU clients

<Aura> Our army of teenage girl artists couldn't draw penises without fits of giggling. Does that count?

That would be myspace.

In any case the worst that could result from a Facebook group would be that it becomes a dumping ground for weeaboos, gaiafags and "omg lul epic win xD" bullshit. I use Facebook but deny most application and group requests because they're stupid; I would not want to be associated with people who would join a Facebook group dedicated to a Japanese-style cripple porn video game (even if I happen to like said cripple porn video game). It's weird enough that I use a picture of Jigglypuff as my profile picture; I would be utterly ashamed to be a part of a KS facebook group as much as I would a /b/ facebook group (for reasons beyond "rules 1 & 2"), and even moreso to be spamming my Facebook friends with invites to such a group to "spread the word."

If people are going to hear about this game and get a good impression of it, it's not going to be a facebook group. Not to say that a facebook group would necessarily give people a bad impression of the game (and definitely not any more than visiting the main website would, unless the people involved in the group really were that clueless); just that a facebook group would be inconsequential, especially considering that the game is already getting publicity on one of the largest messageboards in the world (or two of the largest, if you include Gaia *shudder*).
