Downloaded just fine but now the file won't open

I hadn't opened KS in a few weeks but felt like playing it today. However, when I tried to open it, I was greeted with this:

So, naturally, I did as it said. Then this happened:

ks problem 2.png (16.97 KiB) Viewed 2776 times

Okay, no problem, right? So I searched for it and:

ks problem 3.png (21.97 KiB) Viewed 2776 times

So now I'm really not sure what to do. Do I have to re-download it, or is there any way I can save it?
(I've already played through two routes and I part way through my third and this is the first time this has happened.)

Any unlocked components and save files won't be removed with a reinstall since those files are located elsewhere.
