Sound quality problems on Ubuntu 10.04
Sound quality problems on Ubuntu 10.04
Hey, having some trouble with the sound quality on Ubuntu 10.04 64bit. I downloaded the Act 1 demo about a two weeks ago and it worked wonderfully. Then, a few days ago I noticed the sound got a little bit of static in it that bugged me a bit, but not too much. However, I just got a hold of the full version today, and when I started it, the music was almost all static. You could tell it was music, just horrendous quality. I started up Act I again and it sounded the same as the full version, full of static. Anyone know how I can fix this, because this is an awesome game that I'd love to get playing. Thanks.

Hey, I had the same problem.
For some reason opening firefox when it starts acting up fixes it. No idea why but it might work for you too.

Same problem here, using Debian Unstable. Opening or closing Chrome did it for me.
Could it be the Flash plugin?
