I am pushing 'S' as the game manual had said to do.
Yet I dont get any sign or message that a ss was taken.
I have looked in everything in the KS file. Found nothing.
Was the manual wrong? I am looking in the wrong place? maybe my version is broken? maybe I'm just a complete idiot?
Where are screenshots saved?
Re: Where are screenshots saved?
Open up the folder that says "Katawa Shoujo Act 1"
They are right in there, saved as .pngs.

I won't say 'See you tomorrow' because that would be like predicting the future, and I'm pretty sure I can't do that.
Re: Where are screenshots saved?
Nope. Not there. Like I said I have checked everywhere. I just seem to not beable to take any sceenshots.
Also all the other keymappings work, my 'S' key is clearly not broken. I just dont know why it isnt working.

Re: Where are screenshots saved?
Well, my screen shots work just fine. My avatar is from a screenie.
In any case, I found mine in the file where everything installed. Do you keep two separate folders?

Re: Where are screenshots saved?
you need to have write permission on the game folder. This isn't a given on Vista.
Re: Where are screenshots saved?
AH-HA! Found out what to do. I had to push "Compatibility Files" at the top while in the KS A1 folder. After I pushed it they showed up. So if anyone is having a similar problem as I had, that just might be the answer.

Re: Where are screenshots saved?
In case someone is wondering, on OS X, they're saved in Contents/Resources/autorun inside the application bundle (right click, Show Package Contents).
That should probably be fixed, since it's a really bad place to put them. Same for Vista.
