Donated Blood in Honor of Release
Donated Blood in Honor of Release
I donated blood today in honor of the release of the game. The Red Cross was more than willing to take two pints of my blood. I felt it was appropriate, plus it helps someone else live who might be unfortunate enough, or fortunate depending on your outlook, to end up like a student at Yamaku Academy.
Safe driving on the icy roads and hope you won't need my blood.

That's quite something. ''Good day, I am here to donate blood in honor of cripple porn.''
On the subject, what bloodtype would you happen to have?

A Negative. The doctor there said it was in demand to that convinced me further to hook up to a apheresis machine. And of course I didn't go outright and say that, just felt more like a celebration now that the game is out. I'm in the middle of Shizune's line right now.

Good for you! I'm not capable of giving blood for various reasons so I envy you.
Actually everyone who can give blood regularly should. It saves lives and you can just make more of it.

I donate platelets about every two weeks. Already over 10 gallons.

Really now, you have certainly piqued my interest. If I weren't so terrified of needles, I'd visit my local hospital in a heartbeat... Har har.Levy wrote:The free chicken salad sandwiches are a nice incentive as well.

You are, as far as I can remember, the first person who actually gave something physically belonging to him/her in charity as thanks for our work on KS (now don't feel slighted, Folding people ) and saw fit to let us know.Levy wrote:I donated blood today in honor of the release of the game. You're welcome to this little record. I hope it goes well with that rare steak you'll have sometime soonish.
Shattering your dreams since '94. I also fought COVID in '20 and '21, and all I got was this lousy forum sig.

You've done a wonderful thing then. I have a debt to repay, so one day I intend to donate my own, but unfortunately if I wish to actually help people instead of kill them I will have to wait years before I can start.
Re: Donated Blood in Honor of Release
That's admirable. I sort of fell behind on my blood donation schedule last year. I intend to fix that this year.
Re: Donated Blood in Honor of Release
I'm not allowed to give blood, technically, because I'm bisexual.Rykn wrote:Good for you! I'm not capable of giving blood for various reasons so I envy you.
I give it anyway. Fuk da poleez

I almost feel like donating blood at some point for no specific reason other than being type O. Don't know my rhesus factor, though.

Re: Donated Blood in Honor of Release
Once upon a time, I was a frequent donor. As a cancer survivor, my blood is no longer welcome.
So I just donated $50 to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
