Come to think of it, some visual novels do splice the narrative with action segments, don't they (most noticeably Sakura Wars)? Perhaps this can be a mid-game stealth section, a Metal Gear-esque stealth section where the boys seek to infiltrate the girls' dorms in traditional naughty style. There'd at least be an in-context explanation for why all of the guards can't see anything more than ten feet in front of them...! ;)

You have to admit that would be interesting none the less. But it does seem more like something that would happen in a harem style anime/VN(Like this Zero no Tsukaima scene) which KS is not one of.
