Yes, that is also one reason why I do feel QUITE fortunate. And I feel much respect for those other individuals. I don't know if I would have been able to hold on for that long. Ok, well, yes, I know I would have. But it wouldn't have been fun. Perhaps the finished product will mean more to them than to me. Yet I still look forward to it! I've got nothing else at the moment. And I really love living at Yamaku. It's like the high school I never enjoyed.

No seriously, they're not planning on leaving it like that for the final, are they?

I'm guessing that the "cleaned up" versions aren't done, which would certainly be a valid reason.

Don't worry about whether they'll fix things before the final release; they'll release it when it's done, not when they don't feel like working on it anymore. If they determine that the Emi sprites need to be cleaned up before the final release, then they'll do so, but on their own time. The artists need to eventually catch up with the writers for the project to go forth, and fussing with minutiae on functionally complete art isn't the way to go about that.

I wasn't implying why as in a timeframe, but as in a questioning of the reasoning it has not been done. I already know all about the "it'll be done when it's done" stuff.

More to the point, it came out so early after v3 because the French team, unlike most other teams, had a hard deadline due to their convention plans.

i have to say, seeing the "new" emi was interesting! i had lost my "old" vers of KS, so i just [today] downloaded the newer vers...
surprise! had seen emi in the shimmie, but didn't know just how sketchy [sp?] she is/was. i think i like the new emi better, though

Not much changes in v4 then, I see but it's still as good as excuse as any to replay KS again.
