Guys, Misha's disability has finally been revealed."physical transformation type (of game)"?
What does that even mean?
It's a stretch, but I'd say that they're referring to the "gender bender"-principle, like X-change.

Thank the Horned Reaper, because I ain't gettin' no sleep tonight.Heh, Lilly's overhaul into her current form was recently late in the development of Act 1. If you check out the older blog posts, you can still see her old version in more detail. The general consensus is that her current version is much, much more fitting of her.

I think it meant less gender bender and more on the cyborg parts stuff (since the girls are disabled, mech up and robo war).

For all we know they might be referring to magical girl VNs, because physical transformation can be interpreted in so many ways.

Last I checked the Chinese aren't into body modification. Well at least not cybernetics no clue on the genderbending.

I really really want to make a political comment here, but I don't think this forum would be the best place for it.Wrench Wench wrote:Doubtful.Xuan wrote:I think it meant less gender bender and more on the cyborg parts stuff (since the girls are disabled, mech up and robo war).

About physical transformation, yes, it's pretty much impossible to guess what exactly they are talking about. However, assuming they have some sense about the subject of their article, it's most likely that, in the end, it's just the boring cybernetics thing(maybe they are referring to Shizune's glasses? I heard that according to some definitions you can be considered a cyborg for using glasses...)

It's probably something that just doesn't translate well or we're just missing something in terms of cultural knowledge.Minister of Gloom wrote: I really really want to make a political comment here, but I don't think this forum would be the best place for it.

I believe they're referring to the fact that it won't be released on CD/DVD. As in, it won't be transferred (rather than "transformed") into physical medium.

It's so annoying how badly the Asian languages translate into English or any other European language.

Funny story: I am a native Hebrew speaker. Me(and some others from my class) had to learn Chinese from a person who could only speak English.Wrench Wench wrote:Makes sense.Caesius wrote:I believe they're referring to the fact that it won't be released on CD/DVD. Hilarity ensues.
(I don't know Chinese, by the way. That is, I can barely even introduce myself properly. I learned for a whole year!)

But wow a native Hebrew speaker. Ya know a hundred odd years ago that would have been almost inconceivable.
Myself I only speak English, Scottish Gaelic fluently. But with the help of a dictionary I can work my way through a conversation in Japanese, French, German, Russian or Arabic. It won't be easy but I can get through a conversation so long as it doesn't become overtly technical.

Hebrew and English are the only languages I would say I can use (relatively) casually. We need to know either Arabic or French to get through junior high, so you can say that I know a little Arabic(probably not enough to actually have a conversation with a native speaker, but enough to not be totally lost). Chinese, as I have already said, though I learned for a whole year I don't really know. And yes, it was Mandarin Chinese, specifically.Wrench Wench wrote:Mandarin I presume.Minister of Gloom wrote:Funny story: I am a native Hebrew speaker. Various members of my family speak Yiddish, German, and Russian, but I do not.

Me and my partner travel a lot so I've had to pick up bits of loads of languages. Fun though.
Never been to Israel though.

To be clear, "physical transformation" can refer to those type of games/2d porn where a girl grow a penis or some sort of transformation on the body, it was meant to let people know this game is NOT a goru kind game.
