Eight years.
Eight goddamn years since I've posted on this thread. So long that I've long since lost my original login email and can't even get a password reset.

Basically, I was just bored and sitting around at work recently and stumbled upon my old Google Docs folder, full of various stories and one-shots I'd half-finished... Reading through it reminded me of all the good times I've had on this forum; the Achievements Thread before it was locked, the friends I made along the way.
God damn, all the nostalgia I've had reading through this forum again. Those were the days.

Ahhh, it's one of those things I suppose! Like going back to the site of an old workplace and realising it's all new staff, all new legislation, all new jobs... That's the passage of time, I suppose! To quote d2r, as he'd often rickroll me with, "Times Change"

I mean shit, when I was frequenting this place in my posting prime I was a 20yo forklift operator who's understanding of a seizure was what I read online and that one time I'd briefly seen a kid having one... Now I'm a creaky old shit who gets called to deal with people having seizures.

I guess I have you lot to thank for getting me so heavily invested into medicine! Legitimately changed my life path with a single VN that I only downloaded because I was an edgy 4chan kid and thought anal sex with a double amputee was a funny concept. Thank you all <3

Honestly, I was fully anticipating coming back to find it either barren beyond one or two late-comers creating posts in 2019 that'll never be replied to, or at best a forum in full flower with a completely unrecognisable userbase... To find not only are a few of you still kicking and using a Discord, but I've actually been missed?
