Rin would probabaly have some issues getting those things on. They might be more trouble than they're worth to her.
On that note, what do you think Rin wears on her feets when it's cold?
I'm kind of thinking those fur lined boots that are easily slipped off.

May seem overkill for Japan's winter. I have similar one and you can just slip in and out of them with little effort. More importantly, no need for hands since no laces or anything.
