Not sure if this is completely off-topic for this forum, sorry if it is.
I've only played Lilly and Hanako's route, but I already love this game. TBH, I'd love to see a version where the characters are all mentally disabled instead, or a mix of the two. I honestly would love to help on such a project, as I am studying Psychology.

It's obviously been heavily inspired by KS, but I haven't been keeping up on their progress.
At a glance it seems as if it's still going forward right now, but no recent progress updates.

Could check The fruit of Grisaia, the premise is pretty much this. Both the protagonist and the heroine suffer different mental problems.

Eh, if the anime is any indication, I wouldn't touch Grisaja with a three-meter pole

Would you guys at least mind if i made it a fanfic and post it here lol? It would be similar in style, but with OC's lol. Would it belong in the fanfiction section, or are things like that not allowed here?

Sure - that's what the fanfiction section is for after all.
We already have a fanfic with that topic here, though it was never finished. I think the author is also a writer for that VN I linked above.

The anime was shit tbh. It was like doing each KS routes into 2 episodes of 20 min, and end up with the Kenji's route so he do not have to chose any.

From what I heard that was just a case of shitty adaptation. I've heard very good things about the source material.
