Hello guys.
So, I'm going to format my Laptop running Windows 7 and going to install Linux OS with Elementary and I don't want to lose my save file. Is there any way to transfer my save file? Like on a Flash or something? If so please elaborate.
Thank you for your time.
Moving from Windows 7 to Linux
Re: Moving from Windows 7 to Linux
You can back up the save files on the windows 7 install (I have mentioned the location several times for windows), but I don't know where the files have to be placed when you've moved over to linux (you should be careful in relation to which version (that is of KS) you install since save files from older versions are unlikely to work on newer versions, but the persistent file will work regardless of what version you're using).
