Emi would not be a gun. Because blades are more physical.

Lilly would be a gun with crap accuracy, maybe a musket.

Hanako...Do I have to say it?

Emi's totally a MAC10 though. It fits perfectly!

Lilly would have to be something like a PP7 or a Lady Derringer.

You don't have to say it, but I will! Hanako is a fucking FLAMETHROWER

What about Rin, though?

Mosin Nagant comes to mind...

I like all the girls in KS, but empathize with Hanako the most.

I was under the impression that muskets could be very accurate, if operated properly.

I brought up the Mosin Nagant for Rin because there's some confusion regarding the name of the series of rifles, not to mention there are six or seven different kinds of Mosin Nagant rifles. Otherwise they're very good at what they do ;)

I suppose that would be dependant on the time the musket is from.
The muskets my lot use are all 17th Century, and pretty damn archaic... literally a metal tube, a rough ball of lead and a decent amount of packed-down gunpowder to give it that kick :P All things considered, probably an additional 10% chance it would misfire and an extra 5% chance it'd just blow up in your hands

Eh. Personally, I think the Napoleonic Wars flintlocks might be a bit more apt. Generally, the better flintlocks (with the exceptions of the-then nascent rifles being used by units such as the English 95th "Green Jackets") generally had a range up to 300 meters and had a 1 in 30 chance of hitting your target. When foes got to 30 meters, however, this drops to a 1 in 3 chance of hitting.

The flamethrower is too obvious for Hanako, and it's a weapon that stands out, something that she wouldn't like.

No, she'd want something that she can get in, takes a hell of a lot of skill to use well, is a traditional weapon, and get out without being noticed.

If it has to be something classed as a "gun", then it's a fukiya, otherwise it's a bow and arrows (probably NOT something traditionally Japanese, though, because the traditional Japanese bows are crazy large, and that goes against the "get in, use it, get out" technique).

I think Hanako would do well with a Steyr sniper rifle and a ghillie suit. She's a sniper, that one. She can stay in hiding for days at a time without anyone knowing whether she's there or not—and that's canon.

Lilly, on the other hand, is an indirect-fire specialist. She doesn't want to reveal her position, and hates being challenged. So, probably a self-propelled 155mm howitzer or a little halftrack with a mortar. The crew would help her out. And brew tea. Some of those machines brew up really badly, though.

Emi is clearly a fully-tracked vehicle type. Her guns are all turret-mounted with good depression angle as well as elevation.

Shizune doesn't need a gun; she has Misha. Misha is something like Stalin's Organs.

Rin specialises in unarmed combat.

Hanako as a sniper makes a lot more sense... I'm thinking the Heckler & Koch PSG1 is an appropriate match. Any Steyr sniper rifle is a bit too much for lil Hanako.

Unfortunately while the Fukiya has "gun" in the english version of the name, it's classified under archery. We're talking firearms =D

I'm thinking Misha would be a perfect fit for the AK-47

To suit the an AK, she'd need to be just as rugged and tough as the guns are... I'd probably say not the AK :P
Why not a G11?
A strange looking gun for a girl with strange looking hair? Plus it's as chunky as she is
