I think the writing for Rin's arc is probably the most beautiful writing in the whole game.

Eh, I thought her arc was a bit painful to get through from a reader's standpoint.

But, if you look at it from an aesthetical perspective, then hell yes, Rin's arc as a whole contains some of the best writing I've seen so far in a visual novel. It's clever, it's thoughtful and the way it flows is fantastic, considering the fact that she's a character who can't really express herself the way she wants to. It's awkward yet endearing at the same time.

I was impressed with Aura's writing and I hope I'll have the pleasure to read something else written by him in the (near) future.

Kinda how I felt as well--there's some really amazing prose, some awesome moments and lines, but I had a hard time pushing through the route despite that. I guess it's just that the whole thing felt kind of unhealthy for both Rin and Hisao, and also that the central theme about how people can never truly understand each other means that we never really have the sense of cathartic discovery of breaking through Rin's mysteries the way we do with characters like Hanako or Emi. Rin is almost as opaque at the end as she is at the beginning.
