Re: Favourite Track from the OST
The only song that actually "Gets me" is Wiosna, whenever i randomly boot up KS to play a scene ive been missing or something.
Im still upsest that KS never contained any incredibly badass fight music like
But i guess there was no badass fights to warrant such a thing.

The only scene that qualifies, I think, is the one where Lilly and Shizune face off in the classroom.CoffeeDrive wrote:The only song that actually "Gets me" is Wiosna, whenever i randomly boot up KS to play a scene ive been missing or something.

Post-Yamaku, what happens? After The Dream is a mosaic that follows everyone to the (sometimes) bitter end.
Main Index (Complete)—Shizune/Lilly/Emi/Hanako/Rin/Misha + Miki + Natsume
Secondary Arcs: Rika/Mutou/Akira • Hideaki | Others (WIP): Straw—A Dream of Suzu • Sakura—The Kenji Saga.
"Much has been lost, and there is much left to lose." — Tim Powers, The Drawing of the Dark (1979)

Re: Favourite Track from the OST
I have to admit, I've not listened to the tracks. The "Wiosna" does sound nice, but I put down my headphones during playing since I had other music up instead on my laptop.
But now that I think about it, "Do I wanna know?" by AM actually sorta fits when you complete Rin's neutral ending. I can only imagine Hisao fitting the lyrics.
Or how the good ending scene fits to some lyrics from "Joker and the Thief" by Wolfmother.
Or how "Phoenix Down" by The Unguided (Zardonic remix) relates to Rin route.
I may have played too much KS....

With all due respect, when it comes to KS, your own music is shit.JayLC wrote:I put down my headphones during playing since I had other music up instead on my laptop.
I love the interpretation of Pac-Man where he's a just a lowly worker retrieving golf balls left all over the course by the rich masters and the ghosts are all previous workers who got conked on the head and killed by incoming golf balls in the line of duty.

Agreed. Mood music will always have more meaning, and thus be better in my opinion, than a pandora station or playlist you made for playing a game with as much work put in as KS.
Lilly = Rin > Hanako > Emi > Misha > Shizune

Re: Favourite Track from the OST
Every time a new fella comes along with "I LISTENED TO MY OWN MUSIC DURING KS", I just wanna smack 'em...
I mean, I love Avantasia myself but a Faustian tale in the form of a metal opera just isn't KS music. It comes with its own soundtrack for a reason!

Agreed. Playing KS with your own music is like playing it with your own text.YutoTheOrc wrote:I approve this messagePotato wrote:With all due respect, when it comes to KS, your own music is shit.JayLC wrote:I put down my headphones during playing since I had other music up instead on my laptop.

Who says I would not? If I like something, I pretty much immediately spin off in Fan Fiction anyway.FelOnyx wrote:Agreed. Anyway, the most iconic music has to be "Wiosna".Spent enough time looking at the chapters and their description listening to that.
Enjoy being Dead! You sack of Bricks.

Re: Favourite Track from the OST
Not gonna lie, I did spend the first half of my initial playthrough of Emi's route with Anaal Nathrakh playing. There's nothing quite like an anal scene when the song 'Between Shit and Piss We Are Born' is playing.

Re: Favourite Track from the OST
People listen to their own music while playing VNs?
That's insanity!
That's insanity!
Reading: Kafka on the Shore - Haruki Murakami; Fractured - Karin Slaughter
Playing: Sniper Ghost Warrior 2; Far Cry 3; Dragon's Crown
Cat: "Where are you going?" Alice: "Which way should I go?"
Cat: "That depends on where you are going." Alice: "I don’t know."
Cat: "Then it doesn’t matter which way you go."

Re: Favourite Track from the OST
I think If I was having sex and that song came up(Ha Came), I would have the opposite of an erection :S. More suited to him having a heart attack or Hanako flipping out in her bad end. The song itself was pretty good though :pAaronIsCrunchy wrote:Not gonna lie, I did spend the first half of my initial playthrough of Emi's route with Anaal Nathrakh playing. The fact that you're implying you would shows a vast missing of the point.JayLC wrote:Who says I would not?
@Aaron: Ha. Anaal. Emi route.

Re: Favourite Track from the OST
Is it even legal to play other music during a KS session?
