Except for times when the site goes down. Like today. Because of the sudden demand. Therefore some people got the game where before htey may have come to this site, found it out of action and then forgot to come back.

The download page for the game has official torrents, which are better because they don't tax the servers here as much. I have the Windows v.1.0 and v.1.1 torrents on permanent seed.
Yeah, torrents are our preferred way of offering KS.

As one of those awful redditors that came from KS making the main page (Although in my case, it was the Emi minefield pic instead of the Lilly cereal pic), I initially had to resort to an outside torrent for 1.0 since the site was down. Once it was up and dandy again, I dl'd the proper 1.1 link.

I love the interpretation of Pac-Man where he's a just a lowly worker retrieving golf balls left all over the course by the rich masters and the ghosts are all previous workers who got conked on the head and killed by incoming golf balls in the line of duty.

Am I misusing it? All I'm seeing in the thread a lot of "we were here first; fuck those new people", and really, to me, that's what defines a hipster: having been involved in a thing "before it was cool".

Which is an entirely different flawed perspective, though not an entirely unfounded one.
And KS has never been "cool" as such.
