Never underestimate thew importance of morale.
But all the girls would be more comforting than him, especially Hanako.

Morale is important, but I hardly think a slightly off-putting sense of humor would outweigh all of the positives of being with the guy and result in starvation and death.

Lets see, Hanako would probably have an immediate anxiety attack (Oh god all my friends are gone and im with this random guy no hope of rescue)
Rin would in a nutshell just not be helpful, probably daydream most the day away anyway.
Emi would be good company and would be able to work, but if her prosthetics ever broke we'd be fucked.
Lilly's blindness would be a huge disadvantage to survival. At most she could be a "Camp-wife" of sorts, once used to the area, she would be able to cook and clean to helpful degrees.
Shizune would have her shit together and would be good company when it comes to survival, aslong as you know sign, of the main girls she'd probably your best bet, would need help in things such as hunting most probably though.

Why does nobody ever think of getting Hisao Nakai himself? Since he's the protagonist, your story will always be the most interesting and survivable. Unless it's a manly picnic island… :D
Post-Yamaku, what happens? After The Dream is a mosaic that follows everyone to the (sometimes) bitter end.

Well, Spunky can't. That story's already been done, if you remember what I mean.

I actually don't know what this is alluding to.

Not survivable for him. None of the others need to worry about running out of anti-hnnnnnnnnnng medication.

Even the initial crash would likely kill him. Really, he'd be the loner option.

Because he isn't the protagonist. He's the protagonist of Katawa Shoujo. This is a different story. :P
I love the interpretation of Pac-Man where he's a just a lowly worker retrieving golf balls left all over the course by the rich masters and the ghosts are all previous workers who got conked on the head and killed by incoming golf balls in the line of duty.

Everybody knows who the real protagonist of this story is.

Wilson.
