Wow, I never realised my Bday (the 9th of Jan) was so close to KS's. I think Ill start my 5th play-through in honour of this event.

5th playthrough and 8 more to go...Enjoy. :P
I love the interpretation of Pac-Man where he's a just a lowly worker retrieving golf balls left all over the course by the rich masters and the ghosts are all previous workers who got conked on the head and killed by incoming golf balls in the line of duty.

Happy birthday again, Katawa Shoujo!

And one more round of thanks for all the devs who made this possible.
If any of them were to drop by my neck o' the woods, I'd foist some 12-year Scotch on them.
From Kenji's stash, of course. :)
Post-Yamaku, what happens? After The Dream is a mosaic that follows everyone to the (sometimes) bitter end.

I only found out about KS last year around June, But I can't imagine life without it! It was my first real VN and while I've seen others (Narcissu, Go-Go-Nippon, Sakura Spirit, Kira Kira) none will ever take the place of best VN ever in my eyes!

Even with it being 3 years old, SO many people have just found out about it. Thanks to reddit or some other means. I'm currenlty trying to finish rins route tonight before bed, But even after that. I know I'll replay the entire game a good number of times and always think about it!

January 4th is some kind of holiday for me. 3 years already, huh? It's been a ride, but I think it's safe to say Katawa Shoujo is the most important OELVN ever and will continue to be so for many years. It changed lives. I remember when I spent the whole night downloading Katawa Shoujo because my connection was (it still is) that slow. I spent the next 3 days playing it almost nonstop. To this day, I still replay this or that route when I feel like I need to come back to Yamaku and revisist all those experiences.

You know, recently I replayed Hanako's route and for some reason it was even better than the first and the second and the third times. There's something familiar about Katawa Shoujo that makes it better each time you go back to it. Katawa Shoujo feels like home to me. This is why every year I celebrate its release. Happy birthday, Katawa Shoujo~!
While we are here discussing, Hanako is somewhere hopping from dark to darker tiles. Alone.

I've only been playing Katawa Shoujo since August of last year, and like Sohtak, I can't imagine my life without it. It's characters and their stories have affected and continue to affect my my life in many ways. Thank you 4LS!

First discovered KS on Uboachan (there's a post about it for some reason), downloaded and first played it around August, and finished it around October.

Such an amazing experience for me to read it, might go back and start over again someday.

Oh, and happy birthday Katawa Shoujo! :D

It's been nearly two years since I discovered Katawa Shoujo and first played Lilly's route. If only I could forget everything about KS and experience it all again.. Thank you 4LS for touching my feels where they've never been touched before.

Happy 3rd anniversary, Katawa Shoujo!
