It's very inspired by Yosuga no Sora and Amagami.

I haven't played the VNs yet, but the animes are great and cover all heroines' story arcs. ^^

I want to recommend Fortune Arterial, which is about 60% translated. It's very good in my opinion. :3

I just tried 'dont take it personally babe, it just ain't your story' and I liked it, it's a very interesting and has a good little moral attached to it. Thanks for the recommendation from the OP.

I finally started reading Little Busters (Ecstasy), and I thought it was pretty boring. I guess that's why they have all those mini games? When things finally started to get interesting (the new routes), I realized the translation only covered the original routes and that the voices for the EX-routes were deleted by the installation patch, so I couln't understand a thing. :( I won't read it again until the whole thing is translated.

You most definitely should. It's one of my favorite VNs, and the one that's given me the most severe feels. The fact that I have a little sister and a very close girl friend might have added to that. The thoughts and events that are brought up in Homeward highly resemble my own life, seeing as I'm in my last year of high school and my relations with certain people have become a bit strained due to similar reasons. Spoiler tags might not have been necessary, but you never know...

Hm. Alright. Isn't 1/3 of the game a weird incest route though?

Let me ask you something; do you have a little sister?

I do, and Homeward has really improved my relationship with her. Don't let the fact that certain scenes of the game might contain incestous content affect you. If you play the entire route, you'll understand.
There is one perticular scene in Haruka's route, though, that is so weird... But it's just a dream.

At least it's not Yosuga no Sora (though I swear some of the sprites are traces from it  )

Now that's an unforgivable incest anime! It's still not as bad as Oreimo though... (depending on who you ask ^^)

Ripples is really short, but also incredibly significant to me. It's about a cynical photographer and a girl who feeds cookies to cats.

Kira*Kira:re for "i" is about a boy who tries to take his orphaned sister in after a childhood tragedy tears them apart, and it has one of the single most intensely disturbing mood whiplashes I've ever seen.
