4LS is cruel, they will never release further work pertaining to KS, whether it be a new game, prequel, sequel, spin-off, or anything similar. Not enough love for the players, and I get the feeling that they simply don't want to do the work again for another project, they keep the forums trickling along years after the games end, and the dev blog may or may not be alive still(not sure why, no more updates at all, what is it up for..) but in the end, there will simply be no more work unless a group of people competent enough to do so volunteers and does it themselves. They will probably need permission from 4LS to do that, and I doubt 4LS will help them at all(I don't think anyone from 4LS other than Silentcook and Aura are even floating around anymore..)

The game is dead, 4LS has practically dispersed, fan fiction is the only future. All hail the fanfiction!

That sounds kind of bitter. Of course KS ended. Everything ends eventually. I don't think there's need to milk KS with countless sequels. Instead of being upset at 4LS for ending KS where and when they did, it's better to be thankful that they brought the project to completion and gave us these good memories.

I think it's pretty much done at this point. If they ever did DLC of some form or something. People would want Misha and Miki in it. Myself included.
