Which song moved you the most?
Re: Which song moved you the most?
Moment of Decision for me too. Found that out just now. I read your post and was like: "Moment of Decision isn't half as painful to me as Caged Heart or Shadow of the Truth." Well, after listinging them all again, Moment of Decision also did some things to me. I played through Emi's path this week, and I loved it. However, at the point you stated, I pretty much felt like I got a few knives in my chest. They stayed there as I played, only to go away as I finished Emi. I never realized the song was this painful, even after the good ending fresh in my mind.
Shizune Good Ending > Emi Good Ending > Shizune Bad Ending > Emi Good Ending (again (and again)) > Hanako Good Ending (Now playing)
Re: Which song moved you the most?
Yeah, Shadow of the truth, Caged Heart, and Cold Iron make my heart ache. Shadow of the truth especially. Those 3 themes also all play during bad endings. Well made themes.
Re: Which song moved you the most?
You guys forgot Painful History, how could you?? (only those who played Hanako's route, I guess)
Everyone hides who they are at least some of their time. Sometimes you bury that part of yourself so deeply that you have to be reminded it's there at all. And sometimes you just want to forget who you are all together.

I played all the routes and Painful History didn't give me the feels. It's certainly a sad song, but Shadow of truth just moves me more.Firewind wrote:You guys forgot Painful History, how could you?? (only those who played Hanako's route, I guess)

^ He's right.
<KeiichiO>: "I wonder what Misha's WAHAHA's sound like with a cock stuffed down her throat..."
<Ascension>: "I laughed, cried, vomited in my mouth a little, and even had time for marshmallows afterwards. Well played, Xanatos. Well played."
<KeiichiO>: "That's a beautiful response to chocolate."

Oh my god, Shadow of the Truth T.TZXNova wrote:Yeah, Shadow of the truth, Caged Heart, and Cold Iron make my heart ache. Shadow of the truth especially. Those 3 themes also all play during bad endings. Well made themes.
I never listened to the whole soundtrack like you'd listen to an album or something, as I'm afraid the more I listen to it, the less feels I'll get.
So I just listen to an occasional track once in a while. I never got to Shadow of the Truth.
Just checked it out to see which one it was...
Definitely one of the most moving tracks of this soundtrack, associated with some of the most painful moments of this route.
Thanks for letting me know about it I suppose I was too busy crying to check which track was playing when this one did, lol

Painful History is emotional, but Innocence moved me so much more. I think its mainly because it's what plays during the finale in the park with Hanako, where she finally breaks down and confesses. It never fails to bring on the tears.Firewind wrote:You guys forgot Painful History, how could you?? (only those who played Hanako's route, I guess)

Re: Which song moved you the most?
Yes Innocence is more moving to me at least. I remember the scene in Rin's route where she was sleeping on the desk by the window, and tears began rolling down her face. That scene gave me so much feels, oh my god. I could not stop thinking about it.
Re: Which song moved you the most?
That is mainly what i associate it with. Moment of decision is more synonymous with Rin and Shadow of truth is just. . . . feels.pandaphil wrote:Painful History is emotional, but Innocence moved me so much more. I don't even know if I've heard all the music yet, and this isn't really a plottwist music, but bloody hell...

Personally I don't like Afternoon. One theme I actually don't like hearing. I prefer Daylight.Krad wrote:I don't even know if I've heard all the music yet, and this isn't really a plottwist music, but bloody hell...

I like both of them, they're so soothing..ZXNova wrote:Personally I don't like Afternoon. One theme I actually don't like hearing. I prefer Daylight.Krad wrote:I don't even know if I've heard all the music yet, and this isn't really a plottwist music, but bloody hell...

Re: Which song moved you the most?
Breathlessly breaks my heart and makes me cry, and Aria de l'Etoile is like a drug that makes me feel so damn happy and, well, cry as well. So those two, probably.
But also many others. Wiosna is so symbolic, it's like the theme of all those private KS-reading moments; and so is Passing of Time to a somewhat lesser extent. Afternoon feels like this amazing world I dive into every time I read KS.
I could honestly list most of this tracklist along with an explanation for the meaning of each track for me. This OST as a whole is so amazing. If I had to pick one that made me feel the most emotional, it's probably either Breathlessly or Aria de l'Etoile.
