WARNING: SPOILERS.
So, today, I just finished Katawa Shoujo.
And this was hell of a experience...
You could say this is some sort of mini-review of it... Kind of.
This game got me to tears allmost all the time.
The story and plots in this game is just excellent and allso very unique in it's own way.
It is by far the most enjoying and touching "story"-game I have every "read".
At first when I started this game I though to myself, "damn, this is just going to be another one of these lame visual novels where all is built on porn...".
I was so wrong. Allready 10 minutes in the game, I knew, that this is going to be something amazing.
I was expecting it to be something like School Days in the story style, and it was much better.
All the different routes are amazing and my favorite is Hanakos, due to the fact that the good ending of this literally not only brought me to tears, but made me feel so bad for her, from all she's been through, then blaming it on herself?
The choices in the game is allso good, and allso very hard, for example the Misha part in Shizunes route, and the Miki part in Hanakos route.
Right. The soundtrack?
The most beautiful thing I have ever heard in a lifetime. If I ever where to make "top ten most beautiful soundtracks in games" this would defenently be number 1.
The soundtrack usually comes at fitting times, and the best soundtrack in my opinion, is Afternoon. Hell, I'm listening to it right now and have done for probably an hour.
Okay. The h-scenes?
Like said many times before, this game really doesnt aim on going all hentai and shit, but instead does it in a... Umm... How to speak... "good" way I suppose?
No matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't bring myself to fap all over the place. ;D
All of the opening animations of all the girls routes are amazing and the artwork outstanding.
I wish I could do that good...
When I completed this game 100%, it felt like the first time I completed Zelda OOT for the nintendo 64... You see the ending credits roll and you just want to go back in time and play it all over again.
This is one of those games.
I'd defenently give this game a 10/10. No, I'm not kidding, because nothing of this game is wrong or badly done.
This game really do deserves more praise and popularity then it has, everything about it... amazing...
I was actually quite suprised this game was free because of its amazing quality and gameplay.
I know I've allready said it probably 10 times before but... Damn. This game... Is just soooo goood...

"The Misha part" isn't hard...The choices are as obvious as can be. 
And there are whispers of new 4LS things coming...But the only whispers I've heard are secondhand.

Well you have to realize for a game that's made for free, this is really well made. Yes I can agree with giving the game a little more praise.
The stories do have their own uniqueness, and the choices for the most part are fairly intuitive, though you may have to think a little bit more about the decision you make. Otherwise you get manliness or bad ending. The only really obvious decision I know for sure is that part in Shizune's arc. Seriously. Comfort Misha? That's the most obvious bad ending, really. Rin's story however, is more complicated. Actually, Hanako's bad ending is even more complicated then that. So yeah, nice to know you really liked the game. Enjoy the forum.

To miss something you have to actually aim. I didn't even tried, I liked Misha more on my first walkthrough. I strongly recommend going though it again. The stories and paths all reflect on each other and enhance each other. I got a lot more out of the stories after a second go-through.
