What scene made you "cry" the most
Re: What scene made you "cry" the most
The dandelion scene was spoiled for me (as the best tear-inducing scene in the game), so I started to cry preliminarily.
That sounds stupid, but that's how it was.

Ok, so I went through the bad ending. Honestly, I find her neutral ending worse than her bad ending. It seems like you break up on worse terms in the neutral ending then bad ending. Plus, it's just plain sadder. In other words, Bad Ending is better then the Neutral Ending. (To me at least.)

How is the neutral end on worse terms?ZXNova wrote:Ok, so I went through the bad ending. Honestly, I find her neutral ending worse than her bad ending. Hanako's neutral is worse than her bad...

Neutral Ending seems like Rin is making an excuse to run away. Or, she's misinterpreting what Hisao said. Rin had made up her mind, and there's just no changing it from there. It's also a much sadder ending. Whilst Bad Ending seems more like a bad argument. It seems like there's absolutely no coming back from Rin's Neutral Ending. While Bad Ending seems like you could come back from it. Possibly. That's how I saw it.

Eh, I see the neutral ending as giving up. "Art's all I do right, might as well go away to art school already."ZXNova wrote:Neutral Ending seems like Rin is making an excuse to run away. Bad ending is persevering until something caves, which can lead to much worse than a potential successful art career. Plus there's the whole implication of future suicide thing going on...

Hanakos route. The whole route, all the acts, everything made me feel really bad for her, and after completing her good ending, I was swimming in a sea of tears.
Yet to this day, whenever I think about that last Hanako scene it nearly brings me to tears.

I wonder how many of you cried literally during KS walkthrough.
I had genuine girly tears streaming down my cheeks, since I am quite sensitive for this kind of thing (though I am stale to grief and death IRL - seen all of it too much).
But I must admit that KS was the first piece of art to affect me with such a magnitude of emotions.

Hanako's path made my eyes wet. Same with Rin's. Emi's arc was just sliiightly less "feely" but still buried me in feels. Shizune's path was the least feely...aaaand Lilly's path was the only one that made me have those "genuine girly tears streaming down my cheeks", but I regret nothing. Best path evah.wazuzu wrote:I wonder how many of you cried literally during KS walkthrough.

Everyone hides who they are at least some of their time. Sometimes you bury that part of yourself so deeply that you have to be reminded it's there at all. And sometimes you just want to forget who you are all together.

...In Lilly's route, when she said, at the Shanghai, that she'd decided to leave to Scottland (with Breathlessly playing in the background), I couldn't stop my tears. I was so... disappointed of myself. During that one scene I had to take 3 breaks to wipe my tears as my vision got way too blurry for me to be able to read.wazuzu wrote:I wonder how many of you cried literally during KS walkthrough.

Thing is, I had to quit after that scene and I couldn't play again for the next two days or so - and I couldn't get that music out of my head. And every time I remembered it, I started crying again. Still do.
Then I shed a few tears again when I finally could keep playing, and I recognized the music from Lilly's box. So happy ;D
So yeah, there were lots of emotional moments of course, but I cried only in these 2. Quite a lot, though... I was so sure I got the bad ending.
I just can't listen to Breathlessly without crying, now XD
P.S - Only played Lilly's route so far, so more tears are likely on their way

That one day was a good one.

Lilly's arc is so wonderful that it's impossible to make a bad ending for itFeroxAnima wrote: P.S - Only played Lilly's route so far, so more tears are likely on their way

Re: What scene made you "cry" the most
Lilly's story in general made me have a lot of feels the most, I was more hit by her story than i was with hanako's story which i actually was surprised about.
The hospital scene was the one the one that hit it the most for me i didn't get tears but it was pretty close, it might have had something to do with that i have currently have had a lot of rough times recently which i most of the time blame on my autism and due to that it just empowered the amount of feels from the scene, so shortly after i was done i burst to tears hating my condition.
Second came Rin, though im not an artist like her i did felt a connection that i could see how she feels about that missing piece of understanding from people.
the game is really good and love it but it made me also see things in a different way about myself, though not entirely good because in my head it just made more clear that no matter what it's easier to deal with a physical condition than a mental one, and the missing piece of accept and understanding because of that is really hard to obtain.
offtopic though Rin is close to be on the first place with Lilly, i like Lilly more of her personality more and it would most likely by fitting very well to my very own, but Rin is just much of a hard case in the head as i can be myself. but that makes me doubt how much chance there would be for me to find someone like Lilly to be able to understand me...
being new to the forum i've read alot of posts where people say they have high-functionality of autism, asbergers and what not I find it weird that the number is that high, but then again, im not really surprised at all.
Oh well Hello from me to you all!

Re: What scene made you "cry" the most
You know a VN is good if it can at least make your eyes stream tears. Funny thing about me, I didn't cry during the scene of Rin's Good Ending, but it was afterwards tears started streaming. I'm weird. Only VN(s) that really made me cry were Clannad and Kanon. That also makes you admire this VN even more, it's freaking free and it's this well done.

Why is this so surprising to people? Yes, something done for its own sake and not money is more likely to have effort in it.ZXNova wrote:it's freaking free and it's this well done.

They moved mountains and went to hell and back to put it together. That is the price. The devs absorbed it all.Xanatos wrote:Why is this so surprising to people?
