I confess I 'm kinda curious. How did you find her good ending heartbreaking?

Well, apart from the obvious, "I wish it was me she fell for." :)

The whole scene in the park, where Hanako breaks down and goes into massive self-angst mode and reveals that you took advantage of her a bit and then falls down and cries, (it's a phenomenal picture, but really sad) pulls up more emotions then an outburst of anger and a slammed door for me.

How was she taken advantage of?
<KeiichiO>: "I wonder what Misha's WAHAHA's sound like with a cock stuffed down her throat..."
<Ascension>: "I laughed, cried, vomited in my mouth a little, and even had time for marshmallows afterwards. Well played, Xanatos. Well played."
<KeiichiO>: "That's a beautiful response to chocolate."

Oh careful man. You've just hit upon one of the biggest debating point between new and old players. Who took advantage of who. :)

Ahh, I see where you're coming from with the park scene. You're right of course. Thankfully it quickly resolves itself and ends with Hanako's gift. The single sweetest moment in the game as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah, I wasn't quite sure about that bit, seems like a touchy topic in general. I'm just gonna say it was more awkward than Anything and forget about it, still I maintain there is more f
eels in the happy ending then the bad.

Well, its not really a touchy topic, but it has been discussed nearly to death. I think the general consensus is that they were both insecure, and both share the blame for not communicating and going in for the wrong reasons. But thankfully it all worked out in the end.

And yeah, Hanako kneeling on the ground crying breaks my heart every time. Honestly in her bad ending I'm more angry at Hisao for misreadign her feelings and being insensitive than I am sad about what happened. The worst part is her dumping on Lilly too.

I always have 2 differing followups of the kneeling scene in my mind.

1) A Prince Charming extends his hand.
2) Something malevolent (like the Millennium Earl from D.Grayman) doing the above.

Well, just completed Hanako good ending, is touchy, but I need to replay the last part from the sex scene to the end in order to understand it better. Hanako path is far more complicated than Emi one as Hanako is quite different and even Hisao acts far more insecure. Once I replay that part again I think I will take a break, need some fresh air in order to understand better Shizune, Rin and Lily paths.

BTW, is only me that feels Rin is a very interesting character?

I did replay the last 5 min or so a good 5 times before I fully under stood. The first left me sad, but as I looked deeper, I realized that this was the happy end, and it helped me get over my feels, then I did the bad one and in a moment I was sucked back in.

If you genuinely feel that way about Rin, a word of advice: Save her path for last. It should be the best sendoff ever.

Far from it, actually. She's either interesting or boring.

That's the reason why I always say: Whatever order you want to do the paths, please do not do Rin path first. Not just because of what a timesink her path is, but because it varies from person to person as to what they think of her after only a few glances and far from everyone thinks of her as 'interesting'. But if someone does come up with that thought about her - definitely save her path for last.

TBH though I'd say this rationale could apply to almost every girl. If you plan on going through all the paths in this VN, and start to find a girl moreso interesting than others in Act 1, save the best path for last as they say.

I still have to play the manly picnic, Shizune's path and Rin's path, so I guess the last one's going to be Rin.
Everyone hides who they are at least some of their time. Sometimes you bury that part of yourself so deeply that you have to be reminded it's there at all. And sometimes you just want to forget who you are all together.

I'd say Shizune's is best for last, just on account of it ending on graduation. Rin's is a good one too...As long as you're prepared for that particular rollercoaster.
