Ask!
Re: Ask!
A question to Aura(and, by extention, his partner in writing).
Rin's route. It's...outstanding. It's hard to imagine, that someone could design such a character and storyline without referring to his/her own...how should i put it...clouds in the head. So, basically, question is - do you feel like this? Do you have intimate understanding of the issues, which you provided to Rin and Rin!Hisao, or it's just marvellous imagination? In short...(sorry for broadness) - are you "weird" yourself?

She transferred to another, secular, school.Guest Poster wrote:During their date Lilly mentions to Hisao that Akira felt that the strict school they attended was suffocating and she left for a job as soon as she was able to. In Japan, only elementary and middle school are mandatory. Does that mean Akira never even attended high school? Re: Ask!
The organization arose organically, because it had to.fireye9 wrote:How did 4LS go about organizing the development team?
It started with a bunch of assholes in a thread, then on a forum, then on ANOTHER forum. Kind of like life evolving in a swamp or puddle of primordial shit.
Without the early attempts of some to seize TOTAL CONTROL over the project it probably would've fallen apart, but those same people wound up drifting away/being kicked off because once things settled to a point where everyone started to work as something vaguely resembling a team they weren't necessary anymore.
Once the organization was in place, we all more or less ignored it. The leader was whoever happened to be awake and willing to make decisions, for the most part.

About Misha:
http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=335ftzo&s=5 <---- For reference
She's a lesbian, TheHivemind says it's canon. But judging by the linked image, my question is: Is she an on-the-fence lesbian who could become bisexual if given the love and attention she longs for by a guy like Hisao or a full-on lesbian, and that scene is just her doing her best to get a rise out of him? The scene in the image occurs after he convinces her to look on the bright side of life, and she's obviously trying to spur him into saying he likes her as more than a friend. So, in showing that he genuinely cares for her and wants to help her get past her troubles, it's pretty much implied afterwards that Hisao may have grown on Misha to the point of romantic interest, no matter how slight that interest is.
EDIT: Can I get a more detailed answer from TH? I'm trying to get an idea of how far she leans towards one side so I can gauge how much of a conflict it would cause in the fanfics I plan on writing.

After Shizune crushes Hanako is chess she says
"If you love chess that much but can't give it your all, it's because you love the memories attached to it and not the game," and she concludes that someone taught Hanako how to play.
Perhaps Hanako played with one of her parents? or maybe she learned it at the orphanage or something

I don't think I'm weird like she is, at all. If anything, my personality is quite the opposite. That said, even the most taciturn person has their secret inner world with strange workings, mine just isn't full of non sequiturs and weird associative thinking. In general, I don't think it's a rare observation to feel unable to explain yourself to another person, or to feel unable to really understand another person. Most of the time, most people aren't bothered by this. Rin is just an exaggeration of some very natural traits almost everyone has.Malkavi wrote:A question to Aura(and, by extention, his partner in writing).

Re: Ask!
Ah why the heck not?
To Aura, since the last reply really intrigued me, about a scene in Rin's path:
Was therefore the Reverse-Escapism scene (where Hisao remembers walking the streets at late night alone and takes Rin for a stroll) just something you happened to hear about from someone else/something you came up with in your head, or was that a rarer case where you did draw from personal experience? I gotta ask about this specific instance, because to me it seems so hard to imagine someone would 'get' the point and feeling of such an activity so well if they hadn't done it themselves at least a few times before.

It's complete fabrication. Moreover, I don't think there's a single thing in Rin's path that's from "personal experience".Loonie wrote:Ah why the heck not?

In fact, many of us had something similiar in our lives...at one point or another...
Oh wait, that answers it.

Re: Ask!
I didn't know where else to post this, but I realized something while re-reading Katawa Shoujo, that when Hisao goes to run for the first time with Emi, he say that he wears his old soccer clothes, and that he would get the school gym clothes but the soccer ones are nostalgic to him. Yet in the cut scene with Emi, Hisao seem to be wearing the boys version of the schools gym clothes. So he is wearing clothes he never got, it would seem..... And I feel like I'm the only one that actually cares about this.

Re: Ask!
Aside from the fact that the moment when/if Hisao receives his school gym clothes is not stated in game, the cutscenes are not time-sensitive.

Re: Ask!
What classes are Emi and Rin in? The other main girls we know of (Shizune/Misha and Hanako obviously in 3-3 and Lilly in 3-2), but have the other two been mentioned? If so, what specific class are they both in?

Re: Ask!
Emi and Rin are in class 3-4. This is specifically mentioned in Rin's path.
While I'm at it, we always made class 3-1 to be a deaf class, even though it never got to be relevant to the plot. There are no more third-year classes at the time of KS, though that doesn't mean there are no facilities to house them should the need arise.

Seems like I have to remind everyone again that this thread is not for chatting. Questions only.
