If someone aggravates me, I'll just say something they have no idea of, and disappear in the confusion... which usually pisses them off, but hey.

It's funny how I'm a lot like Rin and can relate to her, but she's the girl I found least romantically attractive. It's bad enough half the women you meet expect you to read their minds.
Speaking in riddles doesn't mean you can understand or relate to her. How exactly are you like Rin? Because you choose to speak in riddles when you want to? Because she doesn't choose it or want it.

Though if that were the case, RiddlerXRin OTP.

Doesn't choose it or want it, but it keeps coming out. Gotta love the human brain sometimes.

I'd say you could relate to Rin (in regards to her talking in riddles) if you often cannot find the words to properly express yourself or if you keep tripping yourself up whenever you speak. Because underlying her riddletalk is an immense sense of frustration that she can never properly connect with other people because of that. If you've ever felt frustration over not being able to get your message across to another properly, that too much was lost in its translation by the person it was intended for, especially when it really mattered to you,...I'd say that's probably one of the most surefire ways to relate to Rin.

Well, obviously you could relate then. But being unable to effectively translate the message from brain to mouth is entirely different from talking in riddles just for shits and giggles when you're grumpy.

I thought Rin's problem was that she had no arms. Has anyone mentioned that yet?

That's not her problem what-so-ever. Like all of the characters, their problems are much more complicated than a physical abnormality. In fact, none of the girls let their disabilities get in the way of living their life. It's much deeper than that.

A bit off topic, but apparently Rin has a voice now.

Saw it. Not a big fan. I always imagined Rin with a dreamy, lazy voice, but there is no life present here at all. She has the right idea... but she's sounding more like a zombie rather than a teenage girl. Meh.

I thought the Rin voice was decent, but the Hisao voice sounds way off... it sounds too manly lol

They've all always had voices. And it's not some shitty voice provided by a not-actually-a-voice-actor-at-all. It's the voices given by the players. :P

Having listened to it, and feeling something a bit off, I realize that I've subconsciously attributed a voice like that as well to her. It does have some right ideas though, it's not really girly and it's monotone at least. The voice is a bit snarky, self-aware, or something (not sure how to describe it) when she speaks, for example, saying, "Do you lack an opinion?" or "It's just mixing some paints, you can do that. Probably." To me she has simply spoken in a merely observational manner, lofty if in any direction at all.

Also heard Kenji, and he sounds far too much like I'm listening to a child and not the manliest man alive. In all seriousness, I expected a more nerd-rage-like tone to his rambling rather than a voice that almost in-itself tries to sound comical. Misha may be just right, though I think I didn't imagine it so high and little.

Whenever I read Rin's lines I heard Raven (Tara Strong) from Teen Titans voice. It's the perfect amount of deadpan and snark, while still sounding feminine.
I write take a look, would you kindly?
I also draw, kind of.
