I think pretty much all the H-Scenes could have been taken out without the game being to detracted from. Those that were very important to the plot had no real need to be as explicit as they were.

That said, I don't think they detracted from the game either. They just sort of are. Neither a game maker or game breaker. By the time you get to an H-Scene, you've already decided if you like the game or not.
Stories are not about concepts, ideas, or emotions. They are about people. If you can remember that, you can tell a story worth listening to.

Each one gave different feelings, but every one seemed to fit the feel of the arc they were in.

Lilly's seemed somewhat methodical and sweet, with a sort of hidden stroke of 'healthy adolescent sex drive'.

Hanako, as we all know, seemed so tense and delicate, but at the same time, like the reveal of something long hidden.

Emi...much like her, all over the place. The ending scene was sweet and trouble-free, like the relief of Hisao finally winning her trust. But then.....THAT anal scene, hilarious and awkward. All over the place, as I said.

Then Rin's was unexpected and random, and kind of....curious in its tone, like neither Hisao or Rin knew what they were doing, but did it because they through it seemed right.

Shizune's, I can't say. I haven't finished that one yet, but I'm curious to find out.

Welcome to the board Grey! I certainly can't argue with any of your observations.

Lilly was such a huge surprise. Though considering shes seems the most mature of the girls, I can imagine she'd know a lot more about certain things. :)

And yes, while I like to think that Hanako will be kinda shy about sex for a good while, hopefully in time she'll learn to enjoy it.

Thankyou! I'm glad to be here, and proud to find I wasn't wrong. :)

Lilly was a great surprise to me...she seemed so prim and well-mannered, and then....she was suddenly quite the expert. That blindfolded seduction technique of hers was masterful. Probably a little TOO masteful for our poor Hisao.

Lily reminds me of a Victorian lady: Prim and proper outside, and a wild cat behind closed doors. Also, you can easily read erotic novels (in braille) in public and not get caught easily.

I gonna try that. I can understand Lvl 1 English Braile. I could start accustom with "reading" braille, and do it.

By the way, Welcome to the forum. Grey, Mizera and Paragon. Chocolate, Chocolate, Chocolate.

Well, she can buy them too, and I'm sure there are other blind ladies in Yamaku too.

Speaking of the library, why did we never finish that Kenji sub plot?

Also, who would have wanted a Yuuko scene?
