If anyone has any doubts about the appeal of the Phantom, just check out the comments section of just about any PotO Youtube video.

I added about a dozen more passengers to the bus stop. I figure having a small crowd staring at her might justify Hanako's anxiety.

We toss up ideas/arguments/logic, you analyse and make the call. Also, it's time Hanako gets introduced to the Phantom, at least as written by Andrew Webber. That Phantom has got to be the most teddy-bear of all the adaptations.

Pretty much my feelings. The ALW Phantom would be the one to get most fangirls hooked. Its only the hardcore ones who bother with the old movies and the novel.

Great minds think alike? However when I think of Hanako listening/watching The Phantom of the Opera I personally think of this version of the song.

I'm actually thinking of going as the Phantom for this year's Halloween party, but more along the lines of Gakupo's outfit from "Le rouge est amour" because damn if that isn't classy

I just searched "Phantom" using the search button. The topic was the "bullying Hanako" one.

I've known a lot of young women who think the Phantom is dreamy, homicidal tendencies and all.

I think adding in more of a crowd helps during the run, and so does having an glowering old woman.

I've been wondering if there would be anything Hanako would do for her scars. Like the salve you have here, or some sort of stretching exercises to increase her flexiblility.. And it seems like Hanako is going be be assocated with Lotion play from here on out doesn't it? That said I imagine that when she does feel comfortable enough to let Hisao see all of her in good lighting again, he'll be very, very, very happy.

It may go against the prevailing attitude but I like the idea that perhaps Hanako doesn't have the same " healthy adolescent sex drive" as the other girls, and might actually be fairly shy and modest about it.
