maybe 5 Feet 7.3 Inches consider as a tall girl for japanese
lol, I'm aware. In anime, the generic height for a tall girl is 5'7, since that's pretty tall for Asians in general. (5'0 myself.) It's just that Hisao said she was the tallest girl he'd ever seen, so I had this mental image that she was 6'0 or something. XD
Most models are 5'8-6'0, so I guess I assumed Lily would be model-esque.
I call my avatar Emiyagi.
Like Emi.
If Emi were cool.

i was taught to use the metric system but i still generally use the old system, for things like height it generally comes up more often than not.
You still use the Imperial System sometimes? I figured that it went the way of the dodo and that only the US and a tiny number of other countries were still holding out on switching to Metric.
IN AMERICA here. I was taught both the Metric System and the "Standard System" (proper name is United States Customary Units). I have no problems using length, mass, and volume in Metric, but temperature still messes me up and making comparisons between systems does too.
In the immortal words of Tucker from Red vs. Blue.

We're supposed to. The reality? Flouted. Height is still in feet, in many shops (especially the smaller ones) food is still weighed in pounds, even newborn babies are weighed in pounds, and our clothes (belts and whatnot) are in inches still.
We're taught it in school, and we're SUPPOSED to use it, but I've never been to a pub and asked for 0.6 litres of beer in my life.
