Makes you wonder how she'll communicate with her husband, if she has one.
Well, given route events, she seems to associate sadness with "I should masturbate vigorously now." so...That relationship may get odd regardless.

A romantic relationship with Rin will not be "normal". Communication would probably be difficult and different, but as evident in her path, love finds a way.

Or that old definition of a friend, where you can just sit side by side without a single word the whole day, and yet felt as if a long meaningful conversation had taken place.

Exactly. For me it's hard to imagine Rin leaving Hisao, since he is the only person that she has actually connected with and truly loved. To me it is as if their fate is sealed, like they share something with each other that would be extremely difficult to share with another person. I think that since Hisao is really the only person to ever get through to Rin and the only to have an, albeit very basic, understanding of how she works, that it would be very hard for her to find a different person that would be able to fill the gap. Hopefully Hisao doesn't leave Rin, but supports her in life. I imagine them getting married, going through hard times, but still love each other even though complete understanding and coherent communication might be impossible. Love finds a way.

I think I have a good idea as to how to understand Rin. I could sort of see her point with art, as it ties in closely with the views of Ayn Rand who I have been studying quite intensely. I also see her view a bit because I am just being turned on to music and am experiencing something similar. However, the word I could describe her as is already there, near the end of the good ending(Last scene I think). Free. Rin is free. Free of compulsion, only ruled by impulsion. I also see her view as I have Aspergers syndrome and also find it difficult to explain things properly. Rin is free. damn, I cant stop saying that. It's like the greatest scientific discovery since the wheel. Rin is free.

The point of her art is that she likes making it. And "compulsion" and "impulsion" are the same thing...

So you're saying "Rin is free" is more important than discovery of Electricity that computers running on?
Compulsion is slight different from Impulsion, at least my thick vintage dictionary. Let's say I understand you.

Oh. By the way, Welcome to the forum, You may already know Xanatos. He is er... "free". In a way or another.

I just went and did Rin's bad ending. It seemed less bad than I expected. It wasn't very bad compared to the other bad endings, Hisao kinda just leaves and it seems like that was that.

IMO. It's basically like "Hisao, I am grateful you let me advanced through my art career. Goodbye.
Her bad ending is more or less like Image in Hisao's perspective.

She isn't grateful though. She didn't want an art career, at least not the sort Nomiya and Hisao were pushing at her. But they both just kept blathering on about how it's so great and the only thing she can do, so she gave up. It's really only better than the bad (after which, IMO, internal if not literal suicide will inevitably be her end) because she goes to some university or art school or something.

She'd kill herself just like Sae's husband/Nomiya's artist friend dude

That's the implication, yes.

Yeah... the whole "I have to destroy myself" thing was kinda weird ._.

It's like ok smoking is "destroying" yourself, but then you hear about Tanaka's (I think that was his name?) suicide and you wonder if she meant it more literally lol
