"Hustle and Bustle" - Hisao
"Hustle and Bustle" - Hisao
He seems to say this line a lot. Especially in Lilly, Hanako, and Rin's path.
Just thought it was funny XD. With the whole "Hustle and Bustle" of it all.

Oh sorry, I missed your point. I was too busy staring at Lilly. <3 <3 <3

Just Lilly. She'd make the best wife out of the KS girls if she was real. And no, on the count that SHE'S NOT REAL!Umber wrote:OT: Hisao was a good student in science, maybe not so much in english.

On topic, I, for some reason, never noticed Hisao saying that phrase that often. I'll have to play through Lilly's route again and take count of every time he says it xD

OT: I counted a total of six times from the beginning of act 1 to the end of Lilly's route. XD

OT I wonder where Hisao lived, so that we can determine the level of "Hustle and Bustle" he now dislikes.

Yes please!Umber wrote:We can share Genderbent Kenji.
When writing my fanfic, I've found myself unintentionally using common phrases multiple times, so I know where the writer is coming from. I'll have to go back and change some things...
Re: "Hustle and Bustle" - Hisao
I do that as well. But it's basically become one of my character's verbal tic I guess. (if you look at my first fic Gustav very often starts off sentences with "Well" because, well I do that all the damn time XD)KeiichiO wrote:When writing my fanfic, I've found myself unintentionally using common phrases multiple times, so I know where the writer is coming from. I've never noticed that playing the game, but I know how easily a writer can repeat themselves without meaning too.
... Or maybe that's just a phrase Hisao likes.

No, Hisao likes combing phrases in the form of "Bread, Eggs, Breaded Eggs."Oddball wrote:I've never noticed that playing the game, but I know how easily a writer can repeat themselves without meaning too.

I noticed that too. Possibly a character trait. If that's the case, well done to the writer. It's not really surprising. Most writers have these little ticks if you look closely enough. That's just one of Suriko's, I guess. I noticed one myself as I was playing through. Suriko has a tendency to use verb nominalizations even when there's a noun that most people would use instead. Mutou had a "want" to do something rather than a desire, Hanako had a "like" of something rather than a love or fondness, etc. Not that there's anything wrong with that, or anything. Just something I noticed.
"Why do you make that noise? Are you mad? Well, obviously. Good. Your sweater is terrible, and I want you to feel bad about it. The burn tells me it is working."
"I like my sweater."
"I'm sure you like huffing glue, too. That doesn't make it right."
