KS: 3 Years Later - Hanako (WIP Comic)

Haven't worked on this for quite some time due to being increasingly busy, but now that I've finished Uni I'm able to devote some time to it. Still, I feel that I'll need to play KS again to get back into the feel.

The various months without work haven't been fruitless though. While I haven't started drawing anything just yet, I've been going over and refining character concepts and bios, and thinking of introducing a few more minor characters. The one I've devoted the most work to so far is another character to be met at the bookstore, because naturally, a bookstore would have more than just Hanako and Nozomu working there. Will post more info eventually along with updated bios.

Seems like an interesting project, perhaps it will be give a little bit more closure. And I don't think that can be a bad thing in any way shape or form.

My, it's been quite some time since I've visited here. To everyone who's vested some interest so far, never fear: I haven't stopped working on this. It's probably going to take quite a lot longer than I had originally expected, and I will say that I will probably still be rather slow in updating, but I'm going to keep soldiering on.

Part of the reason for the increased time is because, while fleshing out my drawing, I've decided to revisit and re-envision an old comic idea from my school days. I'm sorta prioritizing it over this, but it'll balance out over time, I hope.

As for concepts and all that stuff, drawing will still be a way off. I've come leaps and bounds since my last post, but I still don't feel my drawing is up to scratch - additionally, I feel that the extra practice from drawing concepts for my other comic idea (which is much more detail intensive) will benefit me when I come back to draw out this. Until then, though - I'll continue to post text concepts as they come and I feel ready to post them.

Speaking of which, I'll have a new character bio concept and a (really basic) script for the first few pages ready soon. Don't expect either too "soon", but they'll come. With them will also come a list of stuff that has changed (if at all) from currently posted stuff.

So yeah, that's probably all I've got to say for now. Progress is slow, but sure. Taggart out.

Maybe it's all the volumes of Bakuman I've been reading lately, or the curiosity about your story because of my own, or just the fact that I sympathize with how long these things can take, but I want to challenge you (in a friendly, encouraging way) to keep at it and bring your story to fruition. Let's both make our Hanako stories a reality before a year passes us by!
