Really neatly-prepared for the medium.

I'll be honest, I don't get it. At all.

Ending of the Planets of the apes
When the war, has been won
And our march home begins
What awaits has not yet been revealed
What was won? what was lost?
Will our deeds be remembered?
Are they written on stone or in sand?

Have we hit a generation that hasn't seen Planet of the Apes?

Oh, I hope not, who could forget Maurice Evans as Dr. Zaius? or the emotion of Heston as he portrayed Gorge's sorrow towards realizing his own home world was one in the same with that of the apes.

No, I've seen planet of the apes, I own it. More often than not, when people online make a ape reference/ joke lately they tend to make a DBZ reference.

I didn't watch Planet of the Apes, but I know enough of it that you're parodying the ending.

Also Shizune?

Kenji is blaming Feminists.

I assumed Shizune would be leading them.

Hence it's a giant statue of her.

I like how the ruined Statue of Liberty is replaced with a statue of Shizune instead, it's a really neat detail.
