The people that use it claim it has a much better community than Facebook, although that is most likely because it isn't as popular.

So yeah, basically Facebook except not Facebook.

For me, the main advantage of Google+ over Facebook is that not all of your posts are indiscriminately sjown to all of your friends. You can decide to show a post only to your family or your sports club or your fellow KS-fans. So, it's easier to control who is going to see what - only problem is, there's almost nobody on there who you want to show stuff to ^^°
