On topic: I still went for Hanako first, but that's not how it went in the Act-1-only preview. I ended up locked in Emi's route because i decided to push myself in the track since i felt that Hisao would have a slightly suicidal impulse due to his deppression and other problems. It's actually pretty great that i got locked to that thread, because if it weren't, then i would likely have ended up with Kenji... And i'm pretty sure i wouldn't have downloaded the full game if i experienced that ending first .

Same thing here, it's pretty easy to get stuck on Emi's route. I spent an act or two just skipping to wait and see if Hanako or Lily would come up, (My favorite characters from the demo,) and decided it was a waste of time, not to mention the fact that she had no legs made me uncomfortable, funnily enough.

Actually, thinking about that makes me feel kind of horrible. Hanako might be physically scarred, but she and Lily don't necessarily have any amputations or completely unsightly abnormalities, same goes with Shizune, which is how I did the routes in order.

Thinking about it more, that made me feel even worse. I'll take 2 tickets to hell.

To be honest i don't really think you should loathe yourself about having felt that way. Hanako's scarring is hidden from view most of the time, and Shizune's/Lilly's disability aren't something that would tarnish their beauty at all. Add to that the fact that all the girls (except perhaps Rin) are Bishoujo/highly attractive, and it's no surprise that the limbless duo sticks out in that aspect.

Yes, but it's not as super-glaring as an amputated limb. You could probably tell something like that from a good distance away, if they weren't using prosthetic limbs, or in Emi's case, fake limbs with like, socks.
