Not saying anything against fast adapters of new software, but I am fine with Windows XP. It is far less annoying than Vista (all those goddamn security popups waste my time too much), don't want to bother buying it since it is too expensive for me (and I thought that XP install disk and COA combo I had bought long ago was already going to eat my wallet whole) and not to mention Vista and 7 are UNFRIENDLY with most of the other Visual Novels and eroge I already own..

Viruses? There's AVG. And if that is not enough, then a format wipe AND a reimage with Acronis WILL BE.

Adware? Same thing.

Memory? XP-tan is not an F-cup for good reason.. she can't fit 4 GBs of RAM in those Everests..

If Windows 7 can promise me 100% compatibility with games like Kana ~ Little Sister ~ and the like without hassles, well, sure.. But for now, sticking to XP because I already invested money on it.
