Missing Large Portion of Screen

I've never had any issues with non-fullscreen KS on my Mac desktop comp but for some reason when I start up KS on my new mac laptop, the actual images in the window are a quarter of the size they're supposed to be and the rest of the window is filled with white, however to navigate through the menus you still have to select where the icons would have been as though the images filled the entire window. How do I fix?

Consider one of the following:

1. Switch your renderer. Maybe OpenGL isn't helping. Here's a guide: http://www.renpy.org/doc/html/display_problems.html
2. Did you maximize the window? Furthermore, CAN YOU?
3. Switch to full screen, if it wouldn't hurt sacrificing the whole screen.
4. Any of your configuration scripts may be altered in a way. Surely, you wouldn't do that, wouldn't you? Try downloading KS again or delete your save data.

EDIT: There was a reported bug on Ren'Py 6.10.2 (the one KS uses) regarding scaling. Maybe this script will fix it: http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~renpytom/r ... y/scale.py

I don't think fullscreen mode would be an option since it doesn't work on OSX Lion (and might not work on mountain lion if that is what the OP is using).

That guide http://www.renpy.org/doc/html/display_problems.html is only for Ren'py 6.13 and up whereas KS runs off 6.10.
Fullscreen still isn't an option on mountain lion (yes, that is my OS)
I tried deleting it all and re-dowloading but still no fix.
I cannot maximize the window.
I'm not sure what to do with the fact that a bug was reported, is there a way I can fix it using that information?

I do not have any issues with 6.14.1, however. Is there a way I can make KS run through the newer version of Ren'py?
