I'd Like to Join

Well, I don't really like starting a new thread just for my own application, but I'd like to be a part of this project. Looks like it's going slowly enough that I can help without bogging down myself or others on the project. That, and when I saw that Raita page that started all this, I was really hoping such a game would exist, and lo and behold, this appeared on the net one day.

I played the demo, and really like Lily and Hanako. So...if possible, I'd like to be a pre- and pre-final editor for their scripts. What I mean is, I'd like to be the one who edits stirfriedweasel's and Cpl_Crud's scripts on the in-betweens and right before they go to Hivemind (I'm going off the staff list, forgive me if I'm referencing everybody's job wrongly). Or just being another random sub-editor for any or all the paths would be great.

If that's not possible, I'd still like some sort of job. I am a novice in programming, but if introduced into some new script, I might be able to help on that side. Also, I have some of my own ideas on the girls from what everybody's already attributed.

I can't really submit my own work on how well I can be and editor, but I pride myself on my ability to read and should be a good editor if I love the characters.

Cool. I should get you started by opening your permissions up and giving you access to the scripts. I pretty much have the job of deciding what goes in and what doesn't, what gets changed, etc. But we really do need a formal chief editor, not just an army of QCers. So let's see what you have to offer and see.

I thought Hivemind was the chief editor from the staff list. I think I could take on the work for that if there's no one.

It's not too difficult--read through any scene that wasn't already edited by me (see, I started out just editing, then stepped in to write Emi), and look for grammatical errors, clunky constructions, anything that needs more (or less) exposition, that sort of thing.

If you need an extra editor, there's the possibility that I might help. One of my favorite past times was "bashing" authors for extremely specific details, and I might start to do so again if I get bored.
