I tried it but I couldn't get into it. The very fact that I could start the game and then not touch the control for five or ten minutes without loosing kinda killed the interest for me.
It's a decent novelty idea, but the novelty wears off fast.

Can't you do that with the vast majority of games?Oddball wrote:I tried it but I couldn't get into it. The very fact that I could start the game and then not touch the control for five or ten minutes without loosing kinda killed the interest for me.

fun fact, this game is based on this one which actually was a fan game of another visual novel called Cross†Channel
it exists simply because it can.

To explain why Half-Life 3 is so late. See if you get the unlimited drill works (Or whatever the fuck it's called) event you see a faulty personality core designed by Aperture Labs, meaning Katawa Shoujo is in canon with Half-Life and Portal. The reason Valve hasn't released Half-Life 3 yet is because Shizune makes an appearance and they need to

Sure, but that's because of cinematic events, not boring gameplay.Xanatos wrote:Can't you do that with the vast majority of games?Oddball wrote:I tried it but I couldn't get into it. Re: So, I just played Katawa Crash...
Apparently, it is very good. Many people love it, and it's highly rated. However, it has a rather slow start, which kept me from going further into it. Will be going through it sometime or other, though.Xanatos wrote:Is that visual novel any good?yummines wrote:fun fact, this game is based on this one which actually was a fan game of another visual novel called Cross†Channel

Re: So, I just played Katawa Crash...
Actually, it's because that's how games work. Go start up just about any game then leave for five minutes. When you return, the most that will have happened is the character might be flipping a coin or some other idle thing programmed to happen when the player's gone off to make a sandwich.Helbereth wrote:Sure, but that's because of cinematic events, not boring gameplay.Xanatos wrote:Can't you do that with the vast majority of games?Oddball wrote:I tried it but I couldn't get into it. I like the song it has.

I got interrupted by Misha when I was in Hanako's panic mode. WTF?!
Also depressed that Hanako doesn't have a special.
