Personally I played it because it was on Know Your Meme, which made me realise that it had a huge internet presence. I don't think anyone I know IRL has even heard of the game (before I ruined their life told them about it)

Some years ago, a comics translator's computer was accidently searched by the police (They got the wrong adress.) They were actually looking for his neighbor, I think. Anyways, they searched his computer and found 39 pictures from a manga he was translating. Both the District Court and the Court of Appeals found him guilty of child pornography. This case has been discussed for a long time, and in May this year he was barely freed by the Supreme Court. If he wasn't a translator, he would definetely have been sentenced to prison.
This game was banished only because of this character (who I think is 19):

That's a bit riduclous of the Swedish government. Not to sound like a douche, but what are they accomplishing by finding people with child pornography? Are people who look at child porn a threat to society compared to say, a rapist?
