...I came here specifically to link that video. Damn. Why you gotta ruin my fun, Shizune? :P

Otherwise, I've got no answer. It's too subjective to define objectively and I only know my subjective definition in an abstract sense that I've repeatedly failed to adequately translate to words.
<KeiichiO>: "I wonder what Misha's WAHAHA's sound like with a cock stuffed down her throat..."
<Ascension>: "I laughed, cried, vomited in my mouth a little, and even had time for marshmallows afterwards. Well played, Xanatos. Well played."
<KeiichiO>: "That's a beautiful response to chocolate."

Damn, was gonna link that video too. D:

I'm not sure either, but I guess it's that no matter what, you are there for that other person. You can tell them the silliest, most embarassing things ever, and you wont judge them if they do the same. You want to spend time with them whenever you can, make them feel special, cuddle with them, take them fun places, show them every single cool thing you see, and just be happy when you see them smile. They are your best friend and you will help them work through any problems that they have, and trust that they will help you when you need it. You feel butterflies around them and you have a silly need to look good whenever you see them, but you wouldn't mind if they were hanging out in thier oldest pajamas with ruffled hair. They might not be perfect, and you know that, but to you, you don't want perfect if you can have them. You LOVE them. I'm not sure what else to say. :P

*rereads OP*

Oh, in relation to KS...
Well, I don't want to erase all my cheesy sentences so y'all can have them anyways. :P
Sunlight will shine on my life again, so let the past burn now down in flames.

Alas, earwax!

1 Corinthians 13
13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
I always found that to be helpful.

Thanks everyone for the answers. ^^ I wanted to ask what really is love, is it what the mainstream presents as love or is what already has been set in stone since the beginning of the world. (Feeling a bit poetic here  )

Both and neither. Ask fifty different people and you may well get fifty different answers. Quite likely, two of those answers will be the above.

Now for a more jaded point of view:

Loving someone is giving them the power to hurt you terribly, but hoping they don't.

Life's greatest lie. Love is nothing more than a strong emotional attachment but people so often seem to think love carries some magical properties that they get an unrealistic view of life and enter a relationship based on hormone painted first impressions without really taking the time to get to know their partner. And most importantly, there is no such thing as "True Love" and love is definitely not a permanent sentiment, the only reason that only %50 of marriages fail is because humans don't always live long enough to learn to hate their spouse.
Don't i just make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside?

It wasn't love, i was torturing Sunderland by playing on insecurities relating to his frustrated libido. Remember, he was there because of repressed memories and i was forcing him to remember all of his wrongs.
Besides, there were actually two of us stalking Sunderland, i was the one who got the nurses.
