Cloudland Swing is the best character song?

Post by inquisitivenegro »

All are beautiful but I find the rest are more relevant to the plot than to the girls; but Rin's Act 2 BGM describes her perfectly. I mean, I played it on my piano and asked my MOTHER what the song made her feel, man was I surprised with her answer.

What do you guys think? Do you agree with my observation? I'd love to hear your opinions on the act 2 BGMs

I loved that piece! Especially the troll cadences at the end :P
However I find its impact falls without the cinematic, and even more if the listener has no previous knowledge of KS

I'm a Rin fan myself, but Jitter definitely is the better piece of music in my opinion. Maybe the feelings associated with Cloudland Swing might give it an edge, but from a technical point of view Jitter all the way.

Emi's character theme is my favorite simply because it describes her perfectly.

No, it's Concord
When the war, has been won
And our march home begins
What awaits has not yet been revealed
What was won? what was lost?
Will our deeds be remembered?
Are they written on stone or in sand?

Not an Act 2 cinematic BGM tho.
Lily's route does have the best songs tho :)

I like Jitter more, but now that you mention it... I think Cloudland Swing is pretty good too.

I think jitter is better suited for Hanako then Cloudland Swing is for Rin ... but it's really based on opinion anyways

I'd say Emi's song (2x400) is my favorite. I'm a runner, and the first third or so of the song perfectly captures the feeling of getting ready to sprint and just taking off.

If it wasn't for that though, I would probably agree that Cloudland Swing is the best.
